ROCHEM ALGAE CONTROL (COOLING TOWER) is a liquid blend of organic polymers which prevents algae and fouling in open, re-circulating, fresh water cooling systems. It is formulated to efficiently metabolize certain forms of Nitrogen and Phosphorous in water, essentially robbing these major nutrients from algae life without affecting other characteristics of the water. This in effect weakens and ruptures algae cell walls, which eventually die and turn brown. At this point reaction with components of Rochem Algae Control consumes or degrades the cell residues, thus leaving clear water.
