ROCHEM DISCLEANER is a concentrated water based blend of inhibited acids, surfactants and emulsifying agents that has been specifically developed to remove heavy, tenacious, carbonaceous and varnish deposits from lube and fuel oil separator discs. It is extremely effective in removing these deposits without the necessity of separating the discs from the stack. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS Appearance : Clear, Colorless Liquid Specific Gravity : 1.20 - 1.30 pH (10% Solution) : 1.0 to 2.0 Solubility : 100% in water Flash Point : None Freeze Point : -5 C ADVANTAGES ROCHEM DISCLEANER's special blend of active ingredients has led to significant benefits for operators of lube and fuel oil separators. Highly concentrated and completely water soluble. Easy to dilute, rapid cleaning, very cost effective. Does not attack stainless steel and does not damage discs. Does not contain chlorinated hydrocarbons. Biodegradable and Environmentally safe. Cleans down to metal surfaces, leaves no film or residue. DIRECTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE RATE ROCHEM DISCLEANER may be used neat or diluted down to 20% by volume with fresh water, depending upon the severity of contamination, availability of heat and time available for cleaning. The higher the concentration, more efficient is the cleaning action. The time for a cleaning operation will vary from half an hour to a maximum of two hours depending on the above factors. Faster and more efficient cleaning can be achieved by heating to a temperature of 50 to 60 C (122-140 F). After cleaning, the parts should be thoroughly rinsed with fresh water. It is recommended that this product is not used on zinc, tin, galvanized surfaces or anodized aluminium. METHOD OF CLEANING Separators can be cleaned by 01) Removing the separator disc stack and soaking in a solution of ROCHEM DISCLEANER. 02) Removing the separator discs and dismantling stack, then soaking discs in ROCHEM DISCLEANER. Discs can be sprayed if soaking tank is not available. Circulating the solution and heating will enhance cleaning in both the above cases. CAUTION Treat as you would any acid. Wear protective gloves, goggles and outer clothing when handling. If product comes into contact with skin or eyes, flush immediately with water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing. Call a physician, if required.
